Tere has an altruistic heart, she is the founder and president of the non-profit organization El Ángel de Sofía Foundation based in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, where it supports young people and adults in the area of plastic arts, education, and health, and on the board of Mujeres Latinas Foundation in the USA.
